How long has Kota been doing construction in the southern Maine area?

Kota construction launched in 2009 in Bridgton, but company founder Daniel Muise has been swinging a hammer since he was a kid.

Do you offer design services?

We don’t have an inhouse designer, but we work with various local architects and engineers. Also, we’re happy to work with a designer of your choice.

Do you offer financing?

We offer third-party financing options.

Are you insured?

We carry liability, workers’ comp, and commercial vehicle insurances.

Who will be the point person for my project?

Owner Dan Muise will be the point person for your project.

Do you work with subcontractors?

Yes, we often oversee subcontracting crews that we’ve worked with for years.

Can we make changes during the project?

Yes, we will work with you within a reasonable time frame for change requests.

Can you build with future updates in mind?

Yes, we work with you to anticipate future changes and build with an eye toward the future.

Will your estimate allow for flexibility, such as fixtures or electronics options?

It depends on your initial requests. We can set a minimum budget that can be upgraded later. Homeowners are responsible for purchasing relevant items but we can flex according to your needs.

Do you offer a warranty?

We offer a limited warranty for a minimum of one year. Manufacturers’ product warranties are separate. Any warranty we offer does not include coverage for third-party work, such as roof clearing.

Does your crew clean our site daily?

We try to keep the site free of hazards every day.
