Deck Installation & Repair

Whether you need a serious repair or a brand-new deck, Kota has deck specialists that come in, get the job done, and leave you with an attractive, safe deck – no matter what size you need.

We believe that a well-built deck is one of the best investments you can make in your Maine home — an outdoor living space where memories are made, summers are savored, and the natural beauty of New England becomes part of your everyday life. Whether you want a sprawling entertainment deck overlooking a wooded backyard, a cozy wraparound porch with classic New England charm, or a waterfront platform perfectly positioned to capture Maine’s breathtaking coastal views, our experienced team has the skills and creativity to bring your outdoor vision to life.

We specialize in custom deck design and construction, working with a variety of materials — including pressure-treated lumber, composite decking, and hardwoods — to deliver a finished product that perfectly balances aesthetics, durability, and low maintenance. And if your existing deck has seen one too many Maine winters and is showing signs of wear, rot, or structural weakness, our repair services will have it looking and performing like new in no time.

From rebuilding worn boards and reinforcing weakened posts to replacing railings and restoring weathered finishes, we approach every repair with the same care and craftsmanship as a brand-new build. At Kota Construction, we don’t just build decks — we build the outdoor spaces Maine living was made for.
